We’re delighted to announce that we’ve partnered with Hypervolt, one of the UK’s leading providers of smart home electric vehicle (EV) chargers.

Founded in 2021 and based in London, Hypervolt has developed a network of more than 2000 EV charger installers and was named by Deloitte as the sixth fastest growing tech company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in June 2024.

This partnership will set up a streamlined service for any Hypervolt customers who are also looking to switch to solar, so people who have ditched petrol and diesel can also make their properties greener. EV ownership typically goes hand-in-hand with switching to solar, with EV drivers in the UK being seven times more likely to have solar panels compared to the national average.

"Collaborating with Hypervolt aligns with our vision of innovation and sustainability," said Alick Dru, co-founder at Sunsave. "We are excited to combine our strengths to enable greater solar energy adoption, deliver exceptional value to our customers and make a positive environmental impact."

Flavian Alexandru, Chief Executive Officer of Hypervolt, added: "This new partnership with Sunsave is a natural extension of our efforts, aimed at empowering more individuals to embrace solar energy seamlessly, by offering them an integrated market leading technology offer that's accessible from just £69 a month with no upfront cost.”

Born in Yorkshire and now living in London, Charlie has been in the renewable energy industry since 2017, having worked as a writer and then editor of green technology advisor The Eco Experts.
